Smart voiding management
A non-contact optical sensor that measures urine output automatically and streams it to a hospital monitoring system. We run the clinical arm — prospective validation of device accuracy against a gravimetric reference in post-operative ward and ICU patients, and measurement of the nursing workload it removes.
SAVE-GC
A nationwide multicenter platform for gastrectomy video: deep-learning removal of segments that can expose patient or staff identity, and ontology-based recognition of the 6 phases and 34 steps of minimally invasive gastrectomy — groundwork for a safely shareable surgical video dataset.
Anatomical segmentation in TEP
Automatic segmentation of four structures a surgeon must not injure — inferior epigastric vessels, pubic bone, gonadal vessels, vas deferens — in totally extraperitoneal hernia repair, with diffusion-based synthetic augmentation and uncertainty estimation, validated on an external institution.
